CREATING A DEMENTIA INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY

We are here to help and connect you

We are delighted that you have found our website – Welcome!

It’s highly likely that you have recently had cause to investigate dementia for yourself or somebody you know, be it a friend, family member or work colleague. As local volunteers with first hand local personal experience of dementia we wanted to provide a safe space where you could come to find the local information you need to help you.

There are many organisations that can provide excellent, extensive information about dementia and we have provided links throughout the site for you to visit them. Our aim is to provide you with local information and local support whilst showcasing how to reduce the risks of dementia. One of our primary goals is to make local buildings accessible for people with dementia.

This website is new as of 2025 and it will grow and improve as we learn about what you really want. With your contribution in helping us to improve the site it will become an invaluable tool for local people, whether that is by you making constructive observations, recommendations or by becoming a member or a partner we would like to hear from you at: help@foddaa.co.uk

For the nitty gritty bits about who we are click on the About page.

So for now, please click through the tabs at the top and bottom of this page. We hope you find the information you are looking for but if not, then please contact us at: help@foddaa.co.uk and we will come back to you.

Kindest regards, FODDAA Steering Committee
